SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER

In addition to Basic Requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13/14) or pay band (NM-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Supervisory Materials Engineer, Supervisory Mechanical Engineer, Supervisory Electrical Engineer, Supervisory Computer Engineer, and/or Supervisory Electronics Engineer. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Applying progressive working knowledge and understanding of acoustics, non-acoustic, and Airborne Anti-Submarine (ASW) system development fields to meet system engineering and aviation program requirements; 2) Managing financial resources within an assigned budget; 2) Developing, planning, and obtaining funds for acquisition of facilities, test equipment, and software; 3) Establishing long-range objectives and defining financial support requirements, schedules, and support needed for the execution of assigned programs; 4) Demonstrating experience in practical application, integration, and transfer of technologies to airborne platforms; and 5) Overseeing and/or assigning work assignments to subordinates, based on organizational priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments, and/or capabilities of employees.
