To qualify for this position at the FV-H (GS/FG-12/13) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G (GS/FG-10/11) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position to be filled. Specialized Experience includes: Experience examining aircraft registration, recordation and supporting documents in order to effectively assist other Legal Instruments Examiners; experience applying policies and procedures in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, guidelines, and procedures associated with the Aircraft Registration process; experience analyzing findings and making recommendations of proposed regulations and policy; experience providing guidance concerning the application and interpretation of regulatory material affecting the Aircraft Registration Certification regulatory program. The Lead Legal Instruments Examiner performs multiple, varying, and often complex assignments involving the technical and regulatory aspects of the agencys nation-wide programs for adjudicating aircraft registration applications and legal instruments affecting title to, or interest in, property establishing ownership of aircraft and security conveyances.
