TECHNICAL INFORMATION SPECIALIST

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: Performing cataloging and collections management work through the Library’s Integrated Library System (ILS); Cataloging basic library resources using Library of Congress Classification System; Performing digitization planning and implementation; Experience working with library cataloging standards; Anglo-American Cataloging Rules 2 (AACR2) and Resource Description and Access (RDA). You will serve as a TECHNICAL INFORMATION SPECIALIST in the Navy Department Library (NDL) of NAVAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE COMMAND.
