You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. You must meet the screen-out element Ability To Lead Or Supervise, normally addressed at the beginning of the online questions. To meet the screen-out element, applicants must have: Experience in a production maintenance work leader or supervisor position performing a few personnel and administrative duties such as; organize, assign and direct work assignments. In addition, you must also obtain an average score of two (2) for the following elements for this position as addressed through the online question in order to be considered minimally qualified. Your application will be evaluated in the following areas: Ability To Lead Or Supervise (screen-out), Knowledge of Materials, Knowledge of Equipment, Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc., Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic), and Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (includes blueprint reading).
This position is located at the U.S. Mint in Philadelphia, PA in the Production Engineering and Maintenance Branch. As an Industrial Equipment Maintenance Leader, you will be responsible for leading work operations of Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanics, WG-2606-11/12, Production Machinery Mechanics, WG-5350-11, Toolmaker WG-3416-13, and may lead Maintenance Mechanics, WG-4749-10, Electricians WG-2805-10, Elevator Mechanics WG-5313-10 and Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanics WG-5306-10.
