Specialized Experience Candidates must show experience at the level of difficulty and responsibility that is appropriate to the position. To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-J, FG/GS-14 grade level. Specialized experience: Specialized experience is technical experience gained in positions within organizations that are responsible for design, development, operations, maintenance performance and evaluation of the NAS. This experience may be acquired through functions such as the acquisition and development of NAS programs and systems; the operations and maintenance functions in field facilities, and the evaluation and performance functions in District Offices, regional offices and/or headquarters. Some, all or none of the applicants may be interviewed. This is not a bargaining unit position. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement. Temporary Position: This is a temporary position not-to-exceed one year; it may be extended, or terminated early. This position will not be made permanent. Locality Rates: El Segundo, California – 35.84%. Salary range including locality is: $148,491 – $221,900 Rancho Cordova, California – 29.16%. Salary range including locality is: $141,189 – $218,769 Des Moines, Washington -30.81%. Salary range including locality is: $142,992 – $221,563 Longmont, Colorado – 29.88%. Salary range including locality is: $141,976 – $219.988 This is not a bargaining unit position.
As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the managers individual performance, and available funding. This position serves as an Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health (EOSH) Support Operations Group (ESOG) Manager.
