Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for GS-1083-14. For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-13 level in the federal service or private sector, writing, editing, and applying tone of voice to marketing and publications for an arts institution or similar cultural institution. Other Relevant Eligibility Criteria: Second Hurdle Assessment. How you will be evaluated: You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications for this position. This vacancy utilizes a multiple hurdle assessment process to determine the qualifications of applicants. The first hurdle consists of applicants completing an online occupational questionnaire related to the major duties and competencies of the position. The second hurdle consists of you submitting a portfolio that shows samples of your writing, editorial, and overall publishing experience. Writing Sample: Applicants who are referred to the hiring office for selection consideration may be required to submit writing and/or work samples as part of the interview/selection process.
