GS-09: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating with academic institutions to ensure proper completion of admission packages, registration for courses, or submission of documents; Assessing the individual capabilities and educational needs of students/ prospective students; and Reviewing, evaluating, or analyzing educational programs and/or issues associated with education (e.g. tuition assistance, counseling, education services, institutional requirements, etc. Note: This information must be supported in your resume. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assessing customers’ educational capabilities and educational needs and provide education advice/options to meet short and long term individual goals; Monitoring and processing various education documents/requests submitted by customers (applications, issue tickets, etc.); and Using a variety of computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office products, Visio, Adobe Acrobat) to conduct data analysis and to create products.
