To qualify for this position at the FV-J level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FG/GS-13. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is: Specialized aviation technical knowledge, skills, abilities, and project management skills are required. Technical experience involving the operation, installation, or establishment of NAS components, facilities, or systems. Project management experience in NAS-related programs on projects involving acquisition, deployment, sustainment, and improvement of facilities. May also include aviation technical knowledge gained through experience in the design, development, deployment, or performance evaluation of systems or facilities that support the NAS. In addition, design, project management, or construction administration of projects or programs in military or other public or private sector infrastructure development efforts. Relevant projects include large, complex developments with multiple stakeholders. Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History. Serves as the Aviation Technical Systems Specialist (Non-Fed/Airspace PIM) Program Implementation Manager for programs related to the establishment, modernization, sustainment, and operation of National Airspace System (NAS) facilities and equipment in support of Facility and Equipment (F&E) and Operations (Ops) funded programs. Collaborates and coordinates with team members, stakeholders and program offices on development and performance of project scope, schedule and budget.
