Screen-Out Job Element: Ability to Lead Or Supervise In addition to the above requirement, applicants will be rated on the job elements listed below: Technical Practices (knowledge of welding technical practices) Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprint reading) Ability To Use and Maintain Welding Tools and Equipment. Dexterity and Safety Use of Measuring Instruments Knowledge of Metals There is no substitution of education for this position .Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
This position is located at Boxelder Jb Corps Center in Nemo, SD. The incumbent is responsible for performing duties as a Training Leader for the Welding vocation skills training program.
