Basic Requirement for 0150 – Geographer: Basic Requirement for 800- General Engineer Basic Requirement for 855 – Electronics Engineering Basic Requirement for 1301 – Physical Scientist: In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the specialized experience listed below: Specialized experience includes one year of experience to include 1) ability to provide technical guidance and support to the TENCAP Program; and 2)experience with Radio Frequence (RF)/Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) sciences, system engineering, and SIGINT enterprise operations, complemented by proficiency in digital processing, analysis, visualization; and/or 3) experience in technical writing or oral communication, crucial for effective project solutions; and/or 4) experience in directing complex technical programs from planning through delivery while supporting business development initiatives; and/or 5) or experience with work assignments to include technical reports, design analyses, specifications, and the use of similar materials This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The incumbent serves as a Radio Frequency (RF) propagation and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) subject matter expert, advisor, and steward of RF and signals intelligence sciences, technology and architectures for the Imagery Systems Branch and others.
