Experience OR a combination of experience and education that provided the knowledge of the goals, principles, methods, and techniques of recreation programs and an understanding of the interests of individuals or groups. Completion of the requirements for a bachelor’s degree with major study in outdoor recreation and parks; recreation management; youth, public, urban or community recreation; or special population recreation is qualifying experience. ** Highly Preferred – Resume must demonstrate experience in the highly preferred criteria. ** 1. Must have experience coordinating and planning military special events. 2. Must have experience writing and reviewing OPORDS. Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others may be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list.
This position is located at Fort Carson Recreation Events.
