Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Ability to operate large commercial washers and dryers. Must be able to read, count and have the ability to sort laundry. Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions Ability to physically perform the full range of assigned duties.
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Little Rock AFB, AR – Air Force Inns. This position is guaranteed 35 hours but can be scheduled up to 40 hours per week. Physical Effort: The work involves standing and walking continuously on concrete floors and other hard surfaces. Workers continually handle pieces of laundry weighing up to 10 pounds and as much as 20 pounds. Frequently stooping and lifting bulk items weighing up to 50 pounds.
