You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience for the GS-14: Specialized experience is one year of experience at the GS-13 level or equivalent in other public or private sectors, that is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes: – Serving as a technical lead in the analysis of alcohol products (beverage or nonbeverage) and/or tobacco products; AND – Managing daily activities of the laboratory to ensure efficient and timely delivery of work products; AND – Responding or coordinating responses to lab inquiries on technical matters; AND – Training or coaching junior chemists and technicians in their technical duties and served as a reviewer for their analytical work. —————————————————————————————————————- Specialized Experience for the GS-13: Specialized experience is one year of experience at the GS-12 level or equivalent in other public or private sectors, that is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes: – Reviewing formulas and/or performed regulatory analyses on alcohol beverages or tobacco products using chemical, physical, or instrumental techniques; AND – Taking final actions such as tax classification based on analyzed results and/or regulatory guidelines; AND – Identifying or improving analytical methods; AND – Representing an agency at high levels or working groups.
