To qualify for this position at the GS-8 level, your resume must reflect at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level. Specialized experience is experience that has provided you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position as described above, and that is typically in or related to this position being filled. This experience must be identified in your resume. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1. Experience with processing and coding a variety of federal personnel actions and position data; 2. Experience with researching and troubleshooting complex personnel actions from federal automated personnel/payroll systems; and 3. Experience with presenting content to a variety of audiences (i.e., new hire orientations). To qualify for this position at the GS-9 level, your resume must reflect at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-8 level. Specialized experience is experience that has provided you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position as described above, and that is typically in or related to this position being filled. This experience must be identified in your resume. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1. Experience advising and providing comprehensive procedural guidance to managers and supervisors in the areas of human resources programs (i.e. volunteer intern program, separations, and payroll actions); AND 2. Experience identifying and resolving processing problems involving legal authority and nature of action codes; AND 3. Experience with presenting content to a variety of audiences (i.e., new hire orientations); OR 4. Experience with researching and troubleshooting complex personnel actions from federal automated personnel/payroll systems; OR 5. Experience conducting training for Human Resources Assistants. OR Education: Master’s (or equivalent graduate degree such as LL.B. or J.D. as specified in qualification standards or individual occupational requirements in a course of study that directly reflects the job-related KSAs/competencies necessary to satisfy the minimum qualifications and perform the duties of the position. OR Two (2) academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education in a course of study that directly reflects the job-related KSAs/competencies necessary to satisfy the minimum qualifications and perform the duties of the position. OR A combination of education and experience as stated above. ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO TYPE 40 WPM
