Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying advanced theories, concepts, principles, standards, and methods practiced in the science of electronics engineering and knowledge of mechanical and chemical engineering; advanced mathematics & computer science; and test & evaluation methods to support a major aviation program; 2) Conducting pre-test surveys of sites to ascertain terrain and other physical conditions which have a bearing on electronics instrumentation and test facilities; 3) Advising and assisting others in the installation, operation, and field maintenance of electronic equipment involved in test operations and in test methodology; 4) Evaluating test results in order to analyze operational failures and deficiencies, and recommend solutions; and 5) Coordinating and/or assigning work assignments for engineering or non-technical personnel based on aviation program initiatives and agency needs. You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ELECTRONICS ENGINEER in the SUPPORT EQUIPMENT FLEET SUPPORT TEAM – AUTOMATIC TEST SYSTEMS (ATS) BRANCH of the FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
