In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS 12/13) grade level or pay band (DP-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading efforts and working with stakeholders to refine processes and tools to enhance analysis on reliability metrics including demand forecasting; 2) Producing reports on Propulsion safety metrics and assisting Propulsion teams in understanding the safety data; 3) Advancing processes and tools to integrate data collected from aircraft sensors to improve reliability metrics reporting and predictions; 4) Developing data visualizations to effectively display trend data; 5) Assessing cost improvements through the development of processes and tools; and 6) Providing technical guidance to a technical workforce and meeting customer requirements for products and/or services. You will serve as an OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST (Propulsion and Power Reliability Technical Lead) in the Air Systems Group, Propulsion & Power Engineering Department, Modeling and Analysis Division, AND Reliability And Diagnostics Branch of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. The purpose of this position is to provide an expert to refine current processes and create new processes and tools to provide reliability analyses of naval air systems. The duty location of this position is Patuxent River, Maryland.
