Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as: 1) Conduct inspections and evaluations of Intelligence Commands and Programs for compliance for effectiveness and risks; 2) Evaluate command level oversight, analyses, reviews, evaluations, inquiries, and investigations related to Intelligence readiness, operations, security and Intelligence Oversight compliance; and 3) Identify and analyze, applicable laws; regulations, directives, instructions, manuals, policies, and procedures to determine relevance and significance to issue under investigation. You will serve as a GG-14 Lead/Senior Investigator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for inspections, assessments and investigations for the Naval Intelligence Activity (NIA). This position is located in the NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY. All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
