GS-05 I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Physically examining identification for access to restricted areas; 2) Assisting with regulating pedestrian and vehicular traffic to maintain traffic flow and security operations; 3) Monitoring personnel access into restricted areas; and 4) Preforming private and commercial vehicle inspections. NOTE: All experience must be fully demonstrated in your resume to be considered for the position. GS-04 I have six months of general experience performing administrative, technical, clerical, military, or other work that involved following written procedures, rules, or regulations in contacts with coworkers, supervisors, or members of the public to provide a service, respond to inquiries, or obtain information, AND I have six months of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-03) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that involved the protection of property against such hazards as fire, theft, damage, accident, or trespass; or maintaining order and protecting life. Such experience must have provided knowledge of protective systems and techniques. GS-05 I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Physically examining identification for access to restricted areas; 2) Assisting with regulating pedestrian and vehicular traffic to maintain traffic flow and security operations; 3) Monitoring personnel access into restricted areas; and 4) Preforming private and commercial vehicle inspections. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will be required to complete the Regional Training Academy. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Successfully complete/pass required CNIC directed Navy Security Forces Training Course, as well as, reoccurring training requirements.
You will serve as a SECURITY GUARD in the FORCE PROTECTION (N34) of NAS LEMOORE SEC DET.
