This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-01/04) or pay band (NC-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) utilizing office automation equipment and processes; (2) performing administrative and clerical duties (e.g., filing, answering phone calls, making appointments); (3) generating reports, typing, ensuring grammatical correctness of correspondence, and ensuring proper routing procedures are followed; (4) providing assistance to others through customer service in an office/business setting; and (5) maintaining calendars.
