In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-XX) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Knowledge and application of the materials, methods, systems, and equipment used in construction; 2) Knowledge of conceptualizing, developing, producing, understanding, and using plans, models, maps, and analytical/graphical software, to produce drawings, specifications, and other technical documents; 3) Knowledge of the physical, engineering, and experimental equipment and operational characteristics of facilities, and safety and equipment development designed to support operations; 4) Knowledge of functions, principles, practices, and techniques of public planning, including those related to community planning, outdoor recreation planning, and natural resource management, such as demand forecasting, environmental impact analysis, financial forecasting, and land use planning and zoning; 5) Demonstrates ability to clearly and effectively articulate, present, and promote varied ideas and issues (to include sensitive or controversial topics) before a wide range of audiences. Makes clear and convincing oral presentations. Listens effectively; clarifies information as needed; 6) Conveys written information in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience, using correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Expresses thoughts persuasively and uses effective modes to reinforce message retention.
