FOR GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience making test planning recommendations to improve established testing and control methods. Experience with ship building practices applicable to the design, construction, grooming and testing of a submarine. Experience reading and interpreting schematic diagrams, specifications, sketches, Tech Manuals, Process Instructions, Test Procedures and drawings related to trade skills. Experience applying knowledge of Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) and Weapons systems, including interface system/subsystems that support Nuclear or Combat systems testing. Experience with the functions and capabilities of the Shipyard to assess, anticipate and respond to the complete spectrum of system technical alterations, procedural changes, shifting schedules and unusual demands involved in the implementation and conduct of HM&E and CSO Weapons test programs. You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Test Planning Branch, Test Engineering and Planning Division, Engineering and Planning Department of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
