PCS STATEMENT: PERMANENT CHANGE OF STATION COSTS WILL NOT BE PAID FOR THIS POSITION. MAX MILITARY GRADES: TSgt COMPATIBILE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: 3F0X1, 3F2X1, 3F3X1 AFSC is not a disqualifying factor of eligibility; however, selected applicant must obtain the compatible AFSC. Please work with the 119th Base Training Office on ASVAB questions if needing to obtain this AFSC. QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candidates’ experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compatibility criteria/assignments must be followed. The applicant’s record of experience and/or training must show possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess the experiences gained through military or civilian technical training schools, within the human resources business programs, are included as general experience qualifications. An applicant must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess the 1year of specialized experience at the GS-07 level, or the civilian equivalent, which provided; 1) Working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and personnel programs, 2) Knowledge of personnel programs gained in a classroom or as an on-the-job trainee and can discuss terminology, concepts, principles, and issues related to military Human Resources, 3) Experienced in using references and resource materials and experienced in program functions such as, maintaining personnel records and assignments, 4) Experiences may include performing personnel functions associated with preparing and maintaining manual records, managing personnel records and researching record data, and 5) Experienced in operating a computer and using varied computer programs. OR EDUCATION: master’s or equivalent graduate degree in a related field OR 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree. OR An equivalent combination of work experience and education. You must also possess the experience, training or education to support your claim for the competency statements listed within the assessment questionnaire.
