Current Department of Army Civilian Employees Applying on Time-Limited Assignments In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Developing and advising on plans, programs, and policies which support the Transport of Containerized Rocket Warheads and/or Toxic Chemical Stockpile Management Mission; 2) Establishes short and long term planning synch calendars for use by organizational elements and tracks taskers; 3) Developing comprehensive operational strategy for emergency response planning; 4) Coordinating and executing emergency response preparedness exercises; 5) Utilizing office information systems such as MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Teams; and 6) Designing and conducting schedules for Staff Assistance Visits (SAV) and Installation Preparedness Reviews (IPR). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications Organizational Awareness Planning and organizing/Time Management Program Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

About the Position: Serves as a staff member of the Operations Directorate and advisor on plans and operations. Supports the Chief of Operations and BGCA as an organizational representative for the continuing Post chemical Operations stockpile & closure operations.
