For the GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying professional engineering methods, concepts, and theories to develop and maintain advance planning and technical support processes and instructions (e.g., Integrated Logistics, Configuration Management, Auto Data Processing, Laydown Plans, and Uniform Industrial Process Instruction (UIPI) and Industrial Process Instruction (IPI)) to ensure fleet alteration and modernization project resources are utilized efficiently and economically. For the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying professional engineering methods, concepts, and theories to monitor events (e.g., SHIPALTS, Field Changes, Engineering Changes) and work products and progression (e.g., work package, ShipALTS drawings and records, technical work documents, phases of work, laydown plans, Select Record Drawings, Liaison Action Requests (LAR), and Departure from Specs (DFS)) to ensure fleet alteration and modernization projects are completed efficiently and economically.
