You may qualify at the GS-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirements: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service that includes: performing in-depth analyses of international project and corporate financing of international investments in emerging markets to include the viability of the business model; the market opportunity; the financial conditions and track record of sponsors, management and other project parties; country-related legal, macroeconomic and microeconomic risks; and other related factors; supporting the management of a financing program focused on early stage, social impact companies in emerging markets as well as impact-oriented financing vehicles and investment funds; and structuring catalytic investments that support underserved geographies/markets and nascent sectors based on strategic priorities. Note: Education is not substitutional at this grade level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
