EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing technical analysis on complex problems identified by Logistics Managers and other components, involved in the support of weapons systems/equipment used on Foreign Military Sales aircrafts; 2) Reviewing changes in documentation for completeness and accuracy, determining interchangeability and substitutability relationships, initiating file actions as applicable, and identifies the impact on provisioning and technical publications; 3) Analyzing weapon system or support/test equipment life cycle costs associated with all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and contractor representatives to develop alternative logistics support solutions to reduce supply system costs while maintaining and improving system readiness; 4) Representing the department for Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT) meetings, technical advisor on FMS weapon systems provisioning, and advisor for Engineering Change Proposal (ECP). You will serve as an Equipment Specialist in the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Aviation Division of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
