Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Utilizing computer programming languages (i.e. Python, C#, …etc.) and creating applications to enable a system to perform specific functions. Demonstrated usage of Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, business analytics techniques and automated tools (i.e WebFocus) to perform assignments (as a minimum, the ability to use spreadsheets, graphics, communication applications and Geographic Mapping or Geographical Information Systems (GIS) technology and software). Applying software design principles and methodologies to system administration, integration and interoperability processes and procedures. Applying Agile software development processes. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1. Data and Content Management – Monitor, develop and implement plans, policies, programs, and processes to enhance the value of data and information assets. 2. Data Administration – Develops, maintains, and administers databases and/or data management systems that allow for the secure storage, query, and utilization of data. Conducts data integration, data modeling, analytics modeling, and data mining. 3. Information Technology Performance Assessment – Conduct continuous performance measurement to ensure that Information Technology activities, processes, and/or hardware/software are achieving desired results. 4. Software Development – Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools for designing, developing, and testing software in a given environment.
