You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Serves as an EEO Manager and responsible for providing advice and assistance to supervisors, managers and employees. Recommends actions appropriate for resolving complex systemic equal employment complaints. Obtains legal sufficiency reviews from General Counsel and advises managers, supervisors and/or employees regarding the legal and regulatory implications. Develops finalized letters of Acceptance/Dismissal, Informal Resolutions, Final Agency Decisions, various briefs and prepares Negotiated Settlement Agreements. Monitor the EEOC FEDSEP database and upload compliant documents to ensure compliance. Conducts periodic evaluations of the Agency’s complaints processes to determine effectiveness, trends, and identify problem areas. As the Agency’s Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) Advisor, designs, implements, and monitors DTRA ADR programs for EEO complaints and other workplace and employment related disputes. Advises management and employees on provisions of the program, initiates and facilitates program. Prepares annual reports for complaints and manages the complaint database. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
