NURSE CASE MANAGER

THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT POSITION, BUT RATHER AN INDEFINITE APPOINTMENT. THE INCUMBENT WILL BE ENTITLED TO ALL LEAVE AND INSURANCE COVERAGE AS A PERMANENT EMPLOYEE AND COVERAGE IN THE FEDERAL EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT SYSTEM (FERS)/FEDERAL EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT SYSTEM-REVISED ANNUITY EMPLOYEES (FERS-RAE)/FEDERAL EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM – FURTHER REVISED ANNUITY EMPLOYEES – FERS (FRAE) RT. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess understanding of the principles and concepts defined by a practical knowledge of health services activities such as, administration, managed care, human resource management, logistics management, patient administration, medical manpower, medical facility management. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess a minimum of One year (12 months) on-the-job experience at the GS-09 level; AND/OR at least Thirty-six (36) months experience of basic principles and practices related to the management of occupational health care delivery systems; have experiences in planning for and the execution of state occupational health and industrial hygiene programs; have at least six months experience in one of the medical service core functions, which are prescribed as: Health facilities, health plan management, medical resources, health care information, management and information technology, medical logistics, and medical readiness; have demonstrated skills in written and oral communication; have at least six months experience, education, and/or training which provided working knowledge of the principles and practices related to the management of occupational health care delivery systems.
