Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with principles, concepts and practices concerning shipyard work operations, control system requirements and development of personnel in the Service Shop. Experience with nuclear production trade work and technical methods, procedures, materials and processes associated with the repair and overhaul of complex Navy vessels. Experience with Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Experience managing a project or portion of a project which involves directing federal wage system and general schedule employees. Experience investigating and analyzing practices and problems to initiate effective improvements and solutions. You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SERVICE NUCLEAR INTERNAL SHOP MANAGER in the Service Shop (Code 990) Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
