Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience with design software ie. Canva, Photoshop, CorelDraw Experience with ceramic molding and painting, painting with other media, fabric crafts, calligraphy and or lettering machines, engraving, glass crafts and mat cutting desirable. Must be able to read, write, spell and figure basic math and measurements.
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Tinker Arts and Crafts Center. This is a developmental position having known promotion potential to the NF-02 level. Upon satisfactory completion of required training and experience requirement, and with supervisory recommendation, the incumbent may be non-competitively promoted to the higher grade level. Working Conditions: Subject to metal and wood splinters, adhesives, paint fumes, cuts, burns and bruises. .
