AEROSPACE ENGINEER

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluating adequacy of structural loads analysis for aircraft designs and modifications; 2) Identifying structural loads problems arising during development or modification of an aircraft and establish the optimal approach to solve the problems; 3) Providing structural loads input for the planning and execution of research and development programs; 4) Applying thorough knowledge of engineering principles and practices including aircraft structural design and analysis, test methods and data analysis; 5) Understanding general knowledge of aircraft structural static and fatigue strength requirements, aerodynamics, stability and control, performance, and flight control systems; and 6) Solving in-service aircraft structural problems under trying and immediate circumstances.
