SUPERVISORY SAFETY & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: * Experience applying comprehensive occupational safety, health and environmental affairs in a large industrial setting. * Experience executing and maintaining a safety, health, and environmental management program in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. * Experience utilizing a wide range of accepted and approved occupational safety and health concepts, principles, practices, laws, methods, standard, techniques and regulations/requirements required to identify, evaluate and control a wide variety of both conventional and non-conventional industrial and Shipyard hazardous conditions, especially those of high risk to personnel. * Experience applying OSHA, NAVOSH, and DoD standards, procedures, methods and techniques pertaining to construction and shipyard projects, including equipment used in the construction and Shipyard industries, materials, utility and ships systems. *Experience communicating effectively both orally and in writing to gain the acceptance and cooperation of others.
