Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Planning, coordinating, and solving complex and difficult structures issues requiring substantial analysis and evaluation of root causes, effects and alternatives, hazard and safety of flight assessments and airworthiness considerations; 2) Conducting state of the art engineering analyses and investigations to provide substantiated and documented support for in-service engineering actions, including repair, overhaul, modification, operation, maintenance, manufacture, and to improve reliability, maintainability and safety; 3) Providing inputs, analyses, recommendations and justification for new design efforts and legacy system improvements; 4) Providing technical expertise and oversight to ensure the latest advancements in engineering technology are considered and implemented in all work.
