To qualify for this position at the GS-07 grade level, you must possess At least one or all of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as: delivering educational programs to youth as an environmental educator, interpreter, guide, or teacher. You must include hours per week worked. -OR- EDUCATION: Successful completion of at least one full year of graduate level education (one year of full-time graduate education is considered to be 18 semester credits) directly related to the work of the position. Examples of directly related education include environmental education, primary or secondary education, geology, biology, history or other closely related subjects. You must include transcripts. -OR- Successful completion of a combination of education and experience as described above. For example, 6 months of specialized experience (50% of the experience) and 9 graduate level semester hours (50% of the education), would qualify an applicant for this position. The purpose of this position is to serve as the primary assistant to the Chief of Interpretation and Education in the development of operations of the monuments education program. This position may be filled for a six-month seasonal period, but can vary due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated EOD: March-April 2025.
