Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-11: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG 09 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience planning and carrying out recruitment activities to include: implementing recruitment strategies for maintaining recruitment networks and alliances with a variety of private organizations, educational institutions, professional associations, and employment communities to attract and recruit highly qualified candidates. OR EDUCATION: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or L.L.M., if related. OR COMBINING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A combination of graduate level education as described above beyond the 2nd full year of graduate education, and specialized experience as described above, that together meet the qualification requirements for this position. CG-12: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG 11 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is planning and carrying out recruitment activities to include: designing and developing recruitment training; developing and implementing recruitment strategies establishing and maintaining recruitment networks and alliances with a variety of professional, educational and employment communities to attract and recruit qualified candidates. This position is located in the Human Resources Organization, Human Resources Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and is responsible for providing assistance to the Chief of Talent Sourcing in planning and carrying out the full range of personnel activities in the area of recruitment for the Corporation nationwide.
