This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the federal service which includes: 1.) Developing and executing construction projects and contract administration; Or 2.) Managing project time and cost growth; Or 3.) Analyzing plans and specifications, drawings and site conditions; Or 4.) Preparing Cost Estimates in connection with approved claims. Specialized experience for the GS-12. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the federal service which includes: 1.) Developing and executing construction projects and contract administration; Or 2.) Managing project time and cost growth; Or 3.) Analyzing plans and specifications, drawings and site conditions; Or 4.) Preparing Cost Estimates in connection with approved claims. Construction Management Contracting/Procurement Project Management Time in Grade Requirement: For GS-12 positions: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). For GS-11 positions: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
About the Position: Serves as Project Manager, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned projects. As the project team leader, implements corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of the project and intermediate products in support of the project.
