ASSISTANT CHIEF OF STAFF FOR SECURITY AND EMERGENCY SERVICES

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing Security and Emergency Services for a large command, corporation, or center of operations and performing the following: 1)Providing senior-level leadership, supervisory, management knowledge, skills, and experience to lead, mentor and direct the functions of a large command, corporation, or center of operations in support and achievement of the organizational goals and objectives. 2) Advising senior leadership in all matters to Security, Emergency Services, Fire, Installation Protection and Mission Assurance. 3) Organizing, training, and equipping Fire and Emergency Services 4) Serving a Director or Assistant Director for Security and Emergency Services. 5) Organizing, training, and equipping law enforcement, fire protection, emergency medical response, correction services, emergency communications (911) and installation protection capabilities. 6) Assisting in setting policy and objectives, and administering security operations, equipment, activities, programs, establishing timeframes, and deadlines. 7) Providing a full range of supervisory duties and responsibilities. 8) Conducting studies and interpreting policy statements, directives, procedures, and individual instructions issued locally or by higher authority that govern or have a bearing on the areas of mission assurance, installation protection services, security, law enforcement, fire and emergency response services. 9) Directing and evaluating overall project management and coordination for the workload of the Directorate. 10) Maintaining good public relations with external organizations, including local, city, county, and State law enforcement and fire and emergency management agencies. You will serve as Assistant Chief of Staff, Security and Emergency Services (AC/S SES) acting a principal staff assistant to the Commanding General, Marine Corps Installations West-Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton (MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN). The duty station is Camp Pendleton, CA.
