Security Specialist

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as: Develop local policy in response to higher level guidance and provide expert security guidance and recommendations to leadership and customers. Formulate and implement emergency procedures and ensures emergency actions are integrated into emergency action plans. Develop and evaluate current and proposed security protection systems to ensure that information, equipment, facilities, and personnel are protected against possible compromise, sabotage, theft, or terrorism. You will serve as an Security Specialist at the GG-12 grade level and coordinates, or performs complex functions and tasks involving the development, evaluation, implementation, or execution of security programs with the objective of detecting and preventing security problems which might endanger the activity or service, its sensitive operations, or its classified information.
