Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing research analysis on cyber, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and/or criminal intelligence matters relating to political, economic, social, cultural, geographic, or technical issues; Ensuring that intelligence data is properly classified, stored, and handled in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and regulations. Researching, selecting, and compiling intelligence information; and navigating specified intelligence databases and message handling systems. You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601.
