You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized Experience required: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-13 in the Federal services which includes: 1) Providing technical reviews for all Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements and serve as an advisor for the organizations such as the Army Security Assistance Enterprise; 2) Developing and executing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program requirements to include logistic problem solving; 3) Providing program management review and other meeting support to Foreign Military Sales Customers; and 4) Ensuring Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) documents meet quality standards, planning and assigning work, and establishing internal controls and procedures for a logistical team. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Oral Communication Problem Solving Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
