Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, directing, and administering a comprehensive federal civilian benefits program (e.g., ability to create and implement internal policies, enhance procedures, and manage operational changes effectively); providing solutions for problems encountered in day-to-day operations and offer policy guidance on various aspects of the federal civilian benefits program (e.g., encompasses support for current and former civilian employees, annuitants, survivors, and programs such as the Federal Employees’ Group Life Insurance (FEGLI), Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB), Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), and injury compensation).
