SECURITY SPECIALIST (INSTRUCTOR)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying DOD policies, laws and regulations to review, analyze and resolve difficult and complex security problems associated with physical, industrial, personnel, and/or information security programs; 2) Utilizing broad technical knowledge in at least two of the four core security disciplines (Information, Personnel, Physical, and Industrial) to educate/advise personnel on DoD security requirements; 3) Participating in inter-agency or inter-organization committees and working groups to identify and resolve, or to assign responsibilities for resolving security issues; and 4) Developing and presenting security briefings or presentations to officials, managers, security peers, and subordinates.
