Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing scope, cost and schedule on construction, services, or environmental projects. Acquisition experience in source selection such as: prepared source selection documents (such as acquisition strategies/plans or source selection criteria) and/or develop pre-award documents (scope, performance work statements, and request for proposal). Experience in Hazardous, Toxic, Radiological Waste (HTRW) work such as: site characterization and restoration, delineation, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and/or HTRW studies. This experience must be equivalent to the next lower grade level in federal service (GS-11).
About the Position: Serves Project Manager for assigned Military and Support Others environmental projects within the Savannah District. The Project Manager will also coordinate Technical Managers in Engineering Division, Construction Division, Real Estate and Contracting. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
