QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (SHIPBUIDLING)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience understanding quality control requirements applicable to the phases of ship repair and overhaul work. Experience presenting and reporting quality problems, trends, and developing metrics, data analysis reports, leading indicators and key performance measures. Experience applying quality assurance principles involving investigative and analysis methods. Experience with database management, organization, and administration to ensure the highest level of data integrity is achieved. Experience applying engineering concepts, terminology and technical directives as related to ship components/systems and shipyard work processes. Experience in problem identification, problem analysis, cause identification, corrective action implementation, and performing follow-up actions to ensure the effectiveness of corrective actions and lessons learned. You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (SHIPBUIDLING) in the Data Analysis Section of the Quality Engineering Branch, Code 136.2, of the Engineering and Analysis Division in the Quality Assurance Office of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
