The GS-14 salary range starts at $122,198 per year (based on Step 1, outside of locality pay areas) to $139,395 (includes Washington-Baltimore-Arlington-, DC-MD-VA-WV-PA locality pay). Locality pay will be determined once the duty location has been established. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must possess all of the following: Successful completion of a full course of study in a school of law accredited by the American Bar Association and possession of at least a professional law degree (J.D.); AND Bar Membership: You must be an active member of the Bar and in good standing in a state, territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico; AND Experience: Applicant must have at least 4 years of relevant legal experience as a licensed practicing attorney commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position, of which at least 2 years specialized experience with Federal government contracts, including transactional matters, acquisition policy, personal property, contract compliance, and litigating bid protests and contract appeals equivalent to the GS-13 level. This position has a positive education requirement: Applicants must submit a copy of their law school transcript(s) by the closing date of announcements to verify qualifications. As a General Attorney, the incumbent will serve as a trial attorney in the Office of the General Counsel. Location of Position: General Services Administration (GSA), Office of the General Counsel (OGC), Central Office. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
