It is available for your review on the OPM web site at OPM qualification standards Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Candidates for the GS-09 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as the following: Performing analytical work to manage, regulate and control the level and flow of materials, supplies and equipment through purchase, storage, and inventory management; Resolving conventional inventory management problems, questions and situations in a supply operation; Monitoring established supply systems and programs; and Performing independent reviews and making recommendations involving well-established acquisition criteria, methods, techniques and procedures. — OR — Graduate Education: Master’s or equivalent graduate degree, OR two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.B or J.D. degree, if related. — OR — Combination of Education and Experience: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet the experience requirements. NOTE: Graduate education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief Of Operations, Superintendent, Capitol Building, Assistant Superintendent, Client Services Division, , Service Center Section. The selectee serves as an Inventory Management Specialist and Accountable Property Officer for the Capitol Building.
