BUILDING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

FOR GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Develops both short and long-range programs for preventive maintenance and repairs; 2) Validate space utilization, correct building deficiencies; 3) Manage a safety program to include safety inspections, safety hazards, and accident prevention; 4) Inspects projects to evaluate proficiency and products of contractors; 5) Manages the Access Control System (ACS) and Credential Management System (CMS) for Common Access Card (CAC) and Facility Access Cards (FAC) which grant access to doors. FOR GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:1) Providing solutions to building management operations, maintenance, or repair issues; 2) Assisting with planning and scheduling recurring maintenance for buildings and building equipment; 3) Writing statements of work specifications related to building operations and management; and 4) Utilizing Microsoft software for word processing and data management in support of building operations and management.
