Senior Project Engineer

Candidates may meet the basic qualifications required by having at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the occupational series listed above or in another series performing like or similar duties and possessing a knowledge of the theory, principles, and practices in a field of engineering, physical science, or related technical discipline as evidenced by a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as demonstrating knowledge of the principles, theories, and practices of nuclear engineering or other engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, chemical, or structural as applied to the degree in engineering or experience that has been or would be eligible for certification as equivalent through professional registration procedures.
These TWO positions are located in the Division of Operating Reactor Safety. Technical Support Staff (TSS) and the Restart Team (RT). The supervisors are Aaron McCraw and April Nguyen respectively. These positions are in the Bargaining Unit of the National Treasury Employees Union, Chapter 208. These positions are subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements. Use the space available in Question #6 to identify your preference in TSS and/or the RT.
