Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Be able to perform duties independently, plan sequence of duties and select appropriate equipment and supplies necessary to accomplish assignments. Have a background in maintenance, have experience with various tools and be able to manage time to ensure minimal down time of guest rooms. Preferable to have knowledge of Defense Lodging System (DLS) and experience with Lodging Lock systems. Maintain a safe and clean work environment and must have experience with AF basic environmental Safety and documentation. Have experience with office computer systems and be able to prepare and manage spreadsheets. Complete an employment physical. Possess a current driver’s license. Be physically able to frequently lift and carry medium to heavy objects up to 50 pounds and be able to occasionally lift and carry objects up to 70 pounds. Be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions. Successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). This is a Testing Designated Position (TOP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program. Pass a drug test as a condition of employment. Incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
